Family Self-Sufficiency Program Services

The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program is open to Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Program participants.  Families entering the FSS Program work with an FSS Coordinator to develop goals and a plan of action to reach these goals, which will extend over a five-year period, and ideally lead to self-sufficiency.  While enrolled in FSS, PHA will contribute to a savings account for residents earning income. This program has helped hundreds of residents to achieve homeownership, get an education, and pay off debt.
