First phase of project to build and repair 327 units across three buildings
Casey secured more than $21 million in federal funding to support the redevelopment project

Philadelphia, PA – Monday, October 28, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) will host a press conference to celebrate $21,395,555 in federal funding that he secured for the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) to support the Westpark Apartments redevelopment project. The first phase of the project will build and renovate a total of 327 units across three high rise buildings. In addition to creating affordable housing, the project will build a new street grid and pedestrian infrastructure that connects the neighborhood with an accessible SEPTA plaza. A media availability will follow a tour of the construction site and short speaking program.
