The Family Self Sufficiency program is designed to aid Housing Choice families end their dependence on public assistance over a five-year period. With the help of community partners, families are counseled on how to allocate resources as their income grows. Counselors work with the families to help them achieve economic self-sufficiency by teaching them how to manage their money.
