The Philadelphia Housing Authority, America's fourth largest public housing authority and leader in real estate development and property management, seeks a leader as a Director of Financial Info Systems Technology to direct our Information Services Management (ISM) Department and oversee the following functions: financial upgrades to our Peoplesoft system; Accounting functions such as: AP, AR, GL; Treasury including Pension Fund and General Accounting; directs the processing and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports; ensures organizational input and coordinates strategic planning initiatives.
Philadelphia residency will be required. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Management, Financial Management or a closely related field. CPA is preferred; 10-years of senior level experience in the management of automated systems and a financial department,
6- years of experience in a complex accounting environment. Experience with public accounting, enterprise funds, and ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP is preferred.
